TECHNOLOGY
The saw-mill of the complex Sodruzhestvo Novgorod branch is the company fulfilling the entire cycle of wood conversion from procuring to high-quality production and residual conversion.
Application of the contemporary technologies allows to reach the optimal proportion of the productions outcome and residual.
The producer of the equipment and the mechanized lines united into a common producing stream is the company BFB. Launch of the producing line is realized with participation of Italian specialists.
The current lumbering line (was first launched in March 2003) with the capacity of 25 thousand m3 of sawn timber a year is meant for conversion of timber with large diameter (from 28 to 70 sm).
The head equipment of the line is the double log band mill TWIN produced by the Italian company BONGIOVANNI with the mechanization of supply of sawn timber. It allows taking out the core plank in automatic regime after the first run and returning for the second run a two-edged cant without the defects typical for the core.
This technology allows producing sawn timber as for building purpose with precise geometrical parameters as for woodwork purpose with high percentage of radial sawing which is a sign of high quality for woodwork sawn timber.
The managing of the producing process is realized with help of the automatic system. The choice of the sawing scheme is realized after the preliminary scanning of the saw log for defining the end diameters and crookedness.
This way the optimal outcome of the ready production is provided.
The second line will provide the conversion of small diameter timber typical for the woods of the North-West region. The head equipment of this line is the circular canting machine Prismatrice 350, which converts timber of small diameters (from 10 to 35 sm). The machine is presumed for building and constructing sawn timber.
The full cycle of the producing also contains converting poling boards, lump waste and rejects into technological chips of predetermined fraction by the Finnish equipment HEINOLA. The chips is traded at the Scandinavian market as the raw materials for the wood-pulp and paper industry. The residual and saw-dust is used in the boiler-house for heating the sections and drying chambers.
The factory is equipped with the contemporary automatic drying chambers BIGonDRY (Italy) with computerized humidity control that allows conducting chamber drying of 400 m3 of timber a month with any predetermined humidity level.
The equipment allows minimizing the human factor and decrease the risks caused by it.
Today 16 people conduct producing the sawn timber. The second line will require the same number of personnel.
We are looking forward to collaboration with new partners.
